Customer Review: how about "squash me not"?

Being a good californian, I didn't get these for onions and tomatoes, I got them for hot peppers and kumquats. They work really well for small produce that would otherwise fall to the bottom of the crisper - the current handful of serrano peppers has been in there for almost two months, getting used one at a time, and is almost as fresh as the day it was bought at the farmer's market. The containers are bigger than I expected (about a "C" cup), and do stick out a bit, which takes up headspace on the shelf below where they are hung. The lids also don't seal as perfectly as most tupperware, since the hinge doesn't fold flat (not a dealbreaker, but I wouldn't use these for liquids). I had no problem getting the hooks to work with my tempered glass Whirlpool shelves.
If you have a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer I would suggest hanging these on the side *away* from the freezer - the freezer-side fridge wall is colder than the air in the fridge, which will cause condensation on the flat side of the forget-me-not, which eventually will cause mold (probably ok for keeping a grapefruit overnight, but a problem after keeping peppers for a month or so).
Overall, these are well worth the money. I'm glad I bought them.
